Lily Allen got candid (Picture: ITV)

Lily Allen has opened up on a rather unfortunate backstage event.

And its real. So real. We feel for the woman, we really do.

The singer was bored on the Eurostar over the weekend when she decided to answer a whole heap of Twitter fans questions.

Which is always the best idea when youre stuck on a train with wi-fi and a few million people who hang off your every word.

As her ever honest self, though, she didnt hold back as the questions rolled in.

One nosy fan asked: What has been your most awkward bout of diarrhoea.

Why that was on their mind, well never know. But were thankful for the question.

Youd think Lily might give that one a miss, as she also answered questions about her creative process and latest album, No Shame.

However, nope, she was all about that one, as she confessed to a rather debilitating bout of the runs while about to go and perform an encore.

She replied: In the toilet just before an encore in Seattle. It still gives me nightmares. “lily, lily, lily, lily,LiLY LILY”

Oh, we might have nightmares tonight because of that story, but thank you for sharing.

Of course that set fans off, as they shared their lols at her candid comment!

One said: Be even worse if they left you mic on, as another added: Its like theyre cheering you on.

Lily was obliging in giving us a touch more info, as she said the crowd was only left waiting 4-6 minutes by her tummy troubles.

It was a great trip with Lily as she explained her new album, and admitted she has a collection of material that might never see the light of day, as she lost a whole heap of songs to forgotten passwords.
