Beloved YouTube series Kid President is set to make a comeback – with a twist.

Weve missed his pep talks.

Kid President was once the star of YouTube channel Soulpancake, a project all about celebrating positivity in the world.

Played by Robby Novak and created by Robbys brother-in-law Brad, he was known for his inspirational pep talks, and grew up with the character between 2012 and 2016.

He even released a book, Kid Presidents Guide To Being Awesome and starred alongside John Oliver in YouTube Rewind 2014, a fan favourite.

After a two year hiatus, the franchise is set to make its highly anticipated comeback, with Kid Congress – whatever that means.

SoulPancake CEO Shabnam Mogharabi confirmed the news, speaking at the NewFronts West gathering in Los Angeles.

We think that the world needs kids voices, and the hopeful, inspiring voices of kids more than ever, she explained.

Despite Kid President not being active on YouTube since 2016, the Twitter account has stayed as inspiring as ever, with a recent tweet urging its followers to: Be cool to people even if theyre not cool to you, because somebody was probably not cool to them.

Another points out: You? Youre awesome. You were made that way.

Wise words to this day.

SoulPancake has a following of more than two million, and aims to make stuff that makes you think, laugh, and cry.

After the good old days of Kid President, the channels focused more on its other shows, like Tell My Story, Board of Dating and Food Interrupted.

No ones sure what form the return of Kid President is going to take, but no one is more ready than us.
