Strictly Come Dancings Katie Piper put on a defiant display as she takes part in a half marathon – as the man who threw acid over her 10 years ago is released from prison.
The TV presenter posed for pictures as she took part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon through four royal parks in London.
Participants ran through Hyde Park, St James Park, Green Park and Kensington Gardens and the charity run started and finished in Hyde Park.
The star, who performed the jive on Saturday on the BBC One show, made sure she had time to appear at the run the day after, representing the Katie Piper Foundation despite the gloomy weather.
Her appearance comes after Katie revealed she is using meditation to stay calm following the release of her attacker.
Stefan Sylvestre, now 30, was reportedly released from a jail in Suffolk on Wednesday after serving nine years of a life sentence.

Katie, who came last on the Strictly leaderboard in yesterdays episode, took to her Instagram on Saturday to thank everyone for their good wishes.
She wrote: Thank you for all the messages, birthday wishes and encouragement for tonight, very kind of you all!
Using mediation to stay calm and centred today. See you on the ballroom floor tonight.
She shared the words alongside a picture with the quote: Go within every day and find the inner strength so that the world will not blow your candle out.
Katie suffered life-changing injuries after the acid attack in March 2008, which was arranged by her obsessive ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch.
Lynch had arranged for Sylvestre to throw the corrosive liquid over Katie, which left her fighting for her life.
Lynch was jailed for life with a minimum of 16 years for sexually assaulting Piper while Sylvestre, from Shepherds Bush, was told he must serve a minimum of six years before he would eligible for parole.
In August, a Parole Board had heard statements from Piper as well as seeing supporting documentation.
According to the boards decision summary, the panel considered that there were a number of things that reduced Mr Sylvestres risk of causing serious harm in the future.

Mr Sylvestre is now 30 years of age and was just 19 when he committed the index offence, they said.
He was drawn into a criminal lifestyle in his teens and was involved with drugs.
During his time in custody, Mr Sylvestre has actively avoided anti-social behaviour within the prison and has avoided violence, despite being under threat.
He has behaved well to distance himself from such influences.
The summary also said Sylvestre had shown remorse for his actions.
Katie has previously said she was trying to come to terms with the decision.
