While fans prepared to see Kendall Jenner share her most raw story for positive change, all eyes were on the models Twitter page on Sunday night.

Sure enough, just after midnight, Kendall shared a big announcement – her new mega-bucks brand partnership with skincare solution Proactiv, which was not exactly the brave news fans had geared up for.

It fell on the night of the Golden Globes 2019 and the anniversary of her appearance at the ceremony, which is the focus of her moving skincare story.

In a new advertisement for the brand, Kendall shares: I remember last year, I was at an awards show. I was very excited about it – Ive never been before.

When I got on the red carpet, I felt really good about myself: I loved my hair and my dress, and my make-up was so beautiful.

Then I remember going online and seeing all the horrible things people were saying about me, and about my skin. I had actually managed to forget about my skin until then.

Im so proud of my darling @KendallJenner for being so brave and vulnerable. Seeing you share her most raw story in order to make a positive impact for so many people and help foster a positive dialogue is a testament to the incredible woman youve become. pic.twitter.com/rJUXdN2Wmq

Kendall recalled how social media users pointed out the flaws in her skin, which motivated her to get it gone and thats how she discovered the magic of Proactiv.

The stars new big-money deal was not exactly in line with the news Kris Jenner had hyped on her Twitter account, which made social media users pretty fuming.

Kris had said: Make sure to watch @KendallJenners Twitter on Sunday night to find out what Im talking about and be prepared to be moved.
