Jungkook has declared today JKDAY on the BTS 2018 Season’s Greeting calendar.

Although this wasn’t planned to trend until next year, ARMY have taken it upon themselves to spread the word and now the event has gone viral (a year early) – oops!

There is no reason as to why he chose this date, some fans believe that it’s because it is the reverse of his birthday September 1, but who cares?

He has made it his day, and it is now trending worldwide.

The K-Pop star even left a memo for his fans which read: ‘JK DAY Write anything and post it !!! (on the internet)’.

Fans have followed his instructions and have expressed their excitement for the day on social media by sharing their favourite Jungkook moments.

Some have pointed out it wasn’t supposed to be a thing until 2019, with a fan saying: ‘Only ARMYs are extra enough to trend #JKDAY a year early. Omg’.
