Hayden Panettieres boyfriend Brian Hickerson could be facing felony domestic violence changes, following a court hearing on Wednesday.
Hickerson was arrested for domestic violence back in May, in an altercation involving actress Hayden, 29, after a night of drinking.
TMZ reported at the time that Brian had been arrested after the couple got into an argument that turned physical in the early hours of the morning. He was arrested and later released on a $50k (£38k) bond.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has now ruled that there is enough evidence for Brian to face a felony charge over the alleged domestic violence incident, according to RadarOnline.
He has been ordered to appear in court in two weeks time for his arraignment.
Back in May, a judge has issued a protective order against Hickerson that prevents him from being within 100 yards of Hayden.

Hayden, who is known for starring as Juliette Barnes in TV series Nashville, began dating boyfriend Brian last summer.
She split from her ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko in 2018, after being together for almost a decade. Hayden shares four-year-old daughter Kaya with the former boxer.
Since her split from Klitschko, reports claim Hayden has hardly spent time with Kaya. Us Weekly reported that the actress has settled in Los Angeles, while Kaya is currently based in Klitschkos native, Ukraine.
Sources claimed Hayden comes and goes between LA and Ukraine to see Kaya, but doing so has been challenging.
She has previously touched on co-parenting with ex Wladimir, despite the distance and in January insisted the exes remain on good terms for the sake of Kaya.
