The Beckham family are Vogues new cover stars, except David is notably absent from the shot (Picture: Vogue)

Theyre arguably the most fashionable couple to spring forth from the UK shores in the past 20 years (despite sharing some very cringe style choices).

But it would seem that style icon David Beckham has had to miss out on snagging a front cover with his wife Victoria, and whats more hes the only one in famous brood to not have taken part.

Landing on the front cover of British Vogues October edition, Victoria and her brood are seen posing beneath a tree alongside a strapline which reads: The Beckhams on family, fame and fashion.

Except it seems that the most famous Beckham is missing – something which seems to have been glossed over.

The Fashion bible shared the preview of their magazine on Instagram, along with a smouldering black and white portrait of the former Spice Girl and fashionista.

But while it looks like David has been snubbed the magazine made sure to show that it hadnt left out David on purpose, as it also shared a touching family portrait including the former England international.

Beyond the paparazzi flashbulbs, masterful personal branding, social-media savvy, and fashion and sporting prowess, lies the day-to-day business of family life. And the Beckhams are just like any normal family unit – water pistols and all, read the caption.

So, all is well after all. We can all breathe a collective sigh of relief it seems.

The images dropped just a few hours after VB starred in a video to promote the cover story, which celebrated her rich history of fashion highs (and lows).

Speaking to the camera, she said: Today we are here at Vogue and we are shooting a cover story celebrating the rich and inspiring history of one of the most enduring style icons of all time. Me, Victoria Beckham.

Its not long before Victoria is dropping some pretty great puns using lyrics from Spice Girls songs, such as Wannabe and Say Youll Be There.

Edward, you know Im a minimalist right? Super simple, every time, VB jokes. What I want, what I really really want is me, four other women. One sporty, bit of an athleisure direction. Another one thats younger, lots of pink, pigtails. One thats very glamorous – full on leopard print. Then another one thats super, super sexy, big boobs, red hair. That kind of thing.

Sass!
