Oddly enough, Microsoft didn't announce the Games with Gold lineup for December yesterday, suggesting that we must be very likely to see the games revealed today.
Granted, October is a month with 31 days in it – but this is the latest we've seen the games revealed for quite some time now. We're hoping to see them today, though there is no official word from Microsoft that we will.
In lieu of showing us the Games with Gold lineup, though, Major Nelson did share the games that would be coming to Xbox Game Pass this month instead – and it's a good lineup, too.
"Were adding five more great games to the Xbox Game Pass catalog in November, in addition to the growing list of over 100 games already included in your membership," wrote Major Nelson.
"Starting November 1, Xbox Game Pass members can jump into Sniper Elite 4, Olli Olli 2 XL, Rise and Shone, Sheltered, and then on November 6 the same day as its debut on Xbox, Grip: Combat Racing."

It's that time of the month again – the Xbox Games with Gold titles are due to be announced by Microsoft's Major Nelson at some point later today.
If previous months' reveals are anything to go by, we can expect to see the November Games with Gold line-up revealed this afternoon – October's games were announced on September 25, and September's Games were announced on August 28.
That means today – Monday 29 – is almost certain to see a reveal of the games via Xbox's Larry Hyrb. It's the latest we've seen the games get announced in recent months, but that's likely because of how the days fall (the games are never usually announced on a weekend, pushing the date forward a little bit in the October calendar).
Usually, we see some sort of leak or early reveal of the games – but this month, information has been hard to come by.

- Victor Vran – Available from October 16 to November 15
Xbox 360
- Stuntman: Ignition (Xbox 360 game also plays on Xbox One) – Available from October 1 to 15
- Hitman: Blood Money (Xbox 360 game also plays on Xbox One) – Available from October 16 to 31

Every month Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360.
Typically, Games With Gold includes two titles available for a period of two weeks and another two available for a month. It can get confusing and you don't want to accidentally miss out on downloading a great game, so it's worth marking the dates down on your calendar to ensure you don't miss out.
Equally, you shouldn't forget that two of the games included are from the Xbox 360 era, and that means both titles can be played on your Xbox One thanks to the console's backwards compatibility features.
Plus, now that the Xbox One has a dedicated Xbox 360 backwards compatibility store, you can easily search for, find, and download these games should you forget to download them for free during Games with Gold.
