The online mode will be playable for anyone who has a copy of the game but the release date will be at different times depending on when you got the game and which version you have.

Many players expect that the mode will work in a similar way to GTA Online, which has gone on to become a huge success for Rockstar and established itself as its own entity beyond GTA V.

If you are looking to play Red Dead Online as soon as its available then here is everything that you need to know.

When can you play Red Dead Online?

The release date of the online version of the game will be staggered across this week, which will prevent the servers from crashing with everyone trying to access it at once.
