The release of Fallout 76 is now just a month away but players will be able to get taste of whats to come with the beta version that will be released later this month.

Bethesda has announced an open beta phase that will be available to players who have pre-ordered the game.

The aim of the beta is to test the game and find out what issues need to be fixed before the full launch of the game in November.

Players will be able to send their feedback of the game either through social media or by using the Bethesda forum.

Here is everything you need to know about the beta and how you can pre-order the game.

When is the beta release date?

The Fallout 76 B.E.T.A (Break-It Early Test Application) is set to be released on Tuesday 23 October for Xbox One players, which will be followed by PC and PS4 on Tuesday 30 October.

The servers wont be running 24/7 during the beta as Bethesda is aiming to get as many people as possible to play it at the same time so they can test the systems.

Servers are set to be active for between four and eight hours each day which will give them a chance to address any issues before the games full release.

Players can access the beta either by searching for it on the Xbox Store or PlayStation store, or through the Bethesda Launcher if you are playing on PC (PC players will need to register a Bethesda account to access the beta).

When is the Fallout 76 release date?

Fallout 76 will be released worldwide on Wednesday 14 November 2018.

Fans of the game can get access to a beta version of the game if they pre-order their copy.

Fallout 76 is available to pre-order directly from the Bethesda website for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Alternatively you can get a copy of the game from various retailers including Game and Amazon.

What are the different version you can buy?

Standard Edition

This version just contains the base game but if you pre-order it then you will get access to the beta which releases later this month.

Tricentennial Edition

This will contain various bonus -in-game items:

Power Armor Edition

As well as the game, fans of the game will receive a full-scale wearable T-51 power armour helmet with a carrying bag.

The edition also includes a 21×21 glow-in-the-dark world terrain map, 24 collectible Fallout figurines and a steelbook.

There is also bonus in-game content (that is included in the Tricentennial version) as well as access to the beta.
