Declan Donnellys pregnant wife, Ali Astall, is set to give birth to their first child together in the next few weeks.

And the 40-year-old was glowing as she headed out with the Im A Celebrity host, for a romantic brunch together.

The mum-to-be kept her baby bump hidden under a jumper which read good mood, just days before her due date.

Ant McPartlins best friend opted for an equally casual look for the meal, in a jumper and tracksuit bottoms.

Dec confirmed the baby news on Twitter back in March amid intense speculation over his relationship with the former PA, announcing it had sneaked out earlier than planned.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages, the 42-year-old explained.

The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child.

Thanks for the love, we really appreciate it.

But thats not the only thing the happy couple have been celebrating lately, as they recently commemorated their three-year wedding anniversary.

They tied the knot back in August, 2015, in a lavish ceremony in Tyne and Wear – with Decs best pal, Ant, acting as best man on the day.

And the dad-to-be revealed the pair enjoyed a swanky evening to the theatre to celebrate the day.

Anniversary night was a trip to the @oldvictheatre to see A Monsrer Calls, he posted from the joint Ant and Dec account.

Simply brilliant. Fantastic cast, inventive staging and the music is incredible. Even bump enjoyed it (we think that was clapping going on in there!) #OVMonster D.

However, Dec has been hit with some tough times, following the news Ant wouldnt be returning to TV with him for the foreseeable future.

It was confirmed the 42-year-old would be focusing on his health, after his stint in rehab for alcohol addiction, meaning he would be taking more time away from our TV screens.

The 2019 series of Saturday Night Takeaway has also been cancelled while he focuses on his recovery.

A statement from ITV read: Ant McPartlin today announces he will continue to take a break from all television presenting roles until 2019. Ant will not present Im A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in November this year.

In addition Ant and Dec have made the joint decision not to present a new series of Ant & Decs Saturday Night Takeaway in Spring 2019.

Production and filming for a Saturday Night Takeaway series in February would normally have already started, and continue throughout 2018 and early 2019.

Neither Ant & Dec nor ITV wanted to compromise the quality of the show and therefore felt it was better to rest the series next year. They will instead bring the show back in 2020, bigger and better than ever.

Ant added: My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off.

Id like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year.

Speaking about the news, Dec later revealed hes looking forward to reuniting with his best pal next year.

Whilst I am obviously sad at the thought of being without my best friend in Australia this year, I am proud of the work Ant has been doing privately and I am fully supportive of his decision.

Im looking forward to us both being reunited on screen in 2019.
