The Footy Show host Erin Molan has given birth to her first child, a daughter, with fiancé Sean Ogilvy.
Representatives for Molan at the Nine Network confirmed the arrival of Eliza Emily Ogilvy on Wednesday afternoon.
“Everyone at Nine is so happy for Erin and Sean as they welcome Eliza to their family,” a spokesman said.
The timing of big news was not lost on anyone: Wednesday night sees NSW take on Queensland in game one of the 2018 State of Origin.
While Molan will surely be too preoccupied with her new baby to focus on the game, we at least know where her daughter stands in the notoriously competitive clash.

“We wish them well as they embark on the next stage of life together – no doubt she will be a NSW Blues supporter,” the spokesman said.
Molan and Ogilvy got engaged in April of 2017 and announced their pregnancy news in December, about two months after Molan was tasked with hosting a revamped version of Nines previously male-dominated the Footy Show.
It wasnt an easy pregnancy for Molan, the TV star suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, the same serious condition Kate Middleton was hospitalised for during her pregnancy with Prince George.
With Molans maternity leave expected to run through until later this year, her seat will temporarily be filled by Wide World of Sports host James Bracey.
