Square Enix E3 News: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Release, Avengers Game Leaks and Dying Light 2 (Pic: Square Enix)

Square Enix E3 coverage starts here and although the companies press conference isn't until Tuesday morning at 2am, it's possible some big Final Fantasy 7 Remake news could be shared beforehand.

For starters, with rumours abound that there might be an Xbox One release for the game, it's plausible we could see something during Microsoft's mammoth 2 hour long press conference tonight.

However, even if Square don't bring Final Fantasy to the Xbox party, there could still have another special event in line to reveal some info.

No, not Bethesda! But rather a concert soley dedicated to Final Fantasy 7.

Final Fantasy 7: A Symphonic Reunion takes place at the Dolby Theatre in LA on June 9, a day before the Square Enix E3 2019 conference.

Normally this wouldn't mean much, here's where it could get interesting.

Square Enix revealed that the director of the original FF7, Yoshinori Kitase, will be hosting the concert. And it's notable that Kitase-san is also working on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake with Tetsuya Nomura, who has been otherwise engaged with Kingdom Hearts 3.

And in the lead-up to the launch of Kingdom Hearts 3 Nomura actually revealed details about the game during pre-E3 concerts.

So, it stands to reason that more info could be shared during the Final Fantasy 7: A Symphonic Reunion concert.

Obviously, it's just a theory for now, but if you're desperate for more info about the game, keep those eyes peeled the day before the Square Enix livestream.

Meanwhile fans don't have to wait too much longer before they can get some proper tangible information about the Avengers game from Square-Enix.

Info about the game has been few and far between since it was first revealed over two years ago, with fans growing increasingly frustrated, not least at E3 last year when the game skipped Square's big E3 announcement stream.

But this year that's set to all change. Not only will the game be showcased during the Square Enix E3 press conference on June 11th at 2am BST, but there's also a E3 Colosseum event happening.

And remarkably the listing for this event has already revealed plenty of info about the game, before it was pulled and dramatically changed.

Here's what the listing stated before being changed:

"Embrace your powers and join key members of the development team at Crystal Dynamics and the creative team at Marvel Games as they talk exclusively about the upcoming Marvel's Avengers. This is the defining Avengers gaming experience: an epic action-adventure that combines cinematic storytelling with continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay. Moderated by Andrea Rene, assemble in teams up to four players, master extraordinary abilities, customize your heroes to fit your playstyle, and combine powers to defend an ever-expanding world under constant threat."

Parasite Eve could also be making a comeback at E3 2019 from Square Enix. The science-fiction survival horror game has been dormant since the 2011.

Even then, the game was The 3rd Birthday, made for PlayStation Portable.

The series has something of a cult status among fans and its possible Square could be getting ready to reveal something new around the game, at least, thats what some fans believe based on a new trademark thats been filed.

Some clever clogs noticed that Square Enix has filed for a new trademark for Parasite Eve in the UK.

This trademark is allegedly just for the title Parasite Eve, so it's not possible to tell if this is a potential remake, sequel, or port. Perhaps it'll be something in the same vein as Capcom's recent Resident Evil 2 Remake.

It follows on from a similar trademark for the game in Europe last year, but so far that's not lead to anything.

Hopefully Square have got something sneaky planned for the stream.

Last but by no means least, let's have a brief mention for Dying Light 2. Square Enix announced recently that it will publish Dying Light 2, the second instalment of Techland's open-world zombie-RPG franchise.

And whilst news has scarce for the game, we suspect that news for the game is about to ramp up in a big way.

Earlier this week the team shared a whole boatload of different concept art for the game across several key sites including VG247, GameSpot, IGN and morRead More – Source
