It looks like the first details about PUBG Mobile Season 8 have started to surface online.
The highly anticipated new update is rumoured to land in the mobile hit battle royale on July 17, and – as is now customary for new Royale Passes in the game – it will add new skins, new items and come with a whole new theme.
Though publisher Tencent has yet to announce any official information about the upcoming Season 8 Royale Pass, various Youtubers (like Classified YT, whose video is embedded below) have been sharing their discoveries about the upcoming season's content online.
July 17 is the date being suggested by fans because that's the approximate end date of Season 7 – and there's usually not that much overlap between one Season ending and another Season starting.
And ahead of Season 8 going live, we're starting to see another update get rolled out to players, too.

This week, players have noted that they've seen Tencent start to roll out version 0.13.4 to players of the game in certain regions.
According to the PUBG Mobile Reddit, the new PUBG Mobile update weighs in at around 2GB – 1982MB if you want to be exact.
If you have registered for the beta and have the client installed on your iOS or Android device, you should be receiving the download internally via the app now.
From what we can tell about the update so far, we think it contains the Season 8 Royale Pass, which seems to carry something of a nautical theme, and comes with a slew of new cosmetics (our favourites being the penguin and shark backpacks, pictured).
