For many games split-screen multiplayer is becoming a very rare occurrence, with players having to settle for online multiplayer instead.
Call of Duty has continued to keep local multiplayer modes in its games and COD WW2 is no different.
The newest game in the franchise offers the split-screen multiplayer experience for various modes, including the classic Nazi Zombies.
If you want to sit on the sofa and relive the good old days, here is how you can play local multiplayer on COD WW2.
How to play 2 player split-screen in COD WW2
Accessing 2 player split-screen is fairly simple in the new Call of Duty game.
Firstly you will need to make sure you have two controllers connected to your PS4 or Xbox One.
On the start menu there should then be a message on the screen telling player 2 to press X on PS4, or A on Xbox One to join the game.
You are then set up to start playing split-screen two player game modes.
How to change uniforms in COD WWII
To change your uniform you will need to go onto the Divisions menu and then select your chosen division.
After you’ve done that, you need to press triangle or Y, depending on your console choice.
You will now be able to choose a uniform for your soldier by searching through the options.
