UPDATE – ADDED Jump Start Research 5 + 6
Original Story – The Pokemon GO Anniversary Event has just gone live and it also means the games new Research quests are also available.
Here's a reminder of what Niantic said about the new Jump Start Research on their blog post the other day:
"Looking to get up to speed with your research? Do you have a friend who wants to play but feels theyve missed out on too much in Pokémon GO? Dont worry! Trainers can complete new Special Research for helpful rewards that will jump-start their new or continuing adventures.
"This Special Research is only available this summer for players at level 10 or higher, so be sure to let your friends know about this opportunity to join in and get special rewards."
Thankfully the team at Pokemon GO Hub has already pulled together a list of the Jump Start Research Quests, details of which, you'll find below.
One thing to note, stage four of the research mentions a Pokemon encounter, based on leaks text files, it's suggested that this could be a shiny Eevee. NICE!
Also. the first quest wants you to make a new friend. If you don't have anyone nearby, check out https://pogotrainer.club/ to quickly add a new Poke friend
Jump-Start Research
Stage 1:[hhmc]- Make a new friend – 5,000 XP
- Catch 3 Pokémon with Weather Boost – 5,000 XP
- Hatch an Egg – 5,000 XP
Rewards: 2 Lucky Eggs, Dratini Encounter, 15,000 Stardust
Stage 2:[hhmc]- Earn a Candy walking with your buddy – 30x Dratini Candy
- Take a Snapshot of Dratini – 30x Dratini Candy
- Evolve a Dratini – 10,000 XP
Rewards: 1x Raid Pass, 15,000 Stardust, 2 Lucky Eggs
Stage 3:[hhmc]- Power up a Pokémon 10 times – 15,000 XP
- Battle another Trainer in the Great League – 15,000 XP
- Battle in a Raid – 15,000 XP
