Amber Davies has sparked more rumours that she is romancing The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks after sharing – and then later deleting – an Instagram story of her with the reality star.
Just a day after her Love Island ex Kem Cetinay hinted at reconcilation with Amber, the 21-year-old reunited with the 28-year-old TOWIE hunk on Thursday, flashing a smile at the camera and wrapping her arm around Pete’s neck as they cosied up together.
The video was later deleted by Amber, and a source close to Amber confirmed to Metro.co.uk that ‘nothing going on with them at all’ and that they are simply pals.
‘They see each other a lot because they go out to the same places – they are mates. She is still heartbroken over Kem and is focusing on her fitness.
Kem and Amber met on Love Island in the summer and won the show after weeks of ups and downs.
The pair confirmed their romance was over in December, but an insider told Metro.co.uk that they ‘still adore each other’ and are trying to be grown up about their futures.
The close friend told Metro.co.uk that due to their busy schedules they don’t have ‘enough time together; they’re so busy and it’s a real shame’ but that ‘they still love each other’.
‘They are both devastated,’ the pal added, but admitted that the stress of their work loads meant they began arguing and it was bringing them both down.
‘He’s focusing on Dancing on Ice – their lives have been turned upside down,’ the source added.
However Amber was spotted days later with her ex, and she was also seen partying in Essex with Pete over the Christmas period.
