At the end of the most recent season, Piper (Taylor Schilling) was released from prison and the new trailer for the seventh season suggests that she will now be figuring out how to navigate the world outside of prison with a criminal record. Many of Piper's fellow inmates, who are women of color, didn't have the same luck at the end of last season. Piper's partner — Laura Prepon's Alex — is also still on the inside.
