NBA 2K20 Ratings Countdown: Start times for next 2K20 player ratings coming today (Pic: 2K Games)

NBA 2K20 is getting ready to drop their first player ratings for the upcoming new game release.

The games official Twitter account has been teasing the launch of the new player ratings all weekend, but there's now only a few hours to go before they're unveiled.

NBA 2K20 Twitter announced that the Ratings Reveal will take place, Monday, July 15 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

For those in the UK, this means the ratings reveal is coming at 1am Tuesday, July 16.

So if you happen to love the NBA 2K series we would suggest downing lots of coffee for the rest of the day if you intend to stay up.

It's worth adding that it's not yet clear how many player ratings will actually be revealed tonight. We're inclined to think it won't be all players, but there's bound to be enough big name players to get excited over the new release

And thankfully there's also something you CAN do in the time you're waiting.

Stare dreamily at some of the gorgeous new screenshots that have been released for the game over the weekend.

As most fans of the game likely know, the NBA 2K20 Twitter accrount revealed the first image of the game last week with LeBron James and Anthony Davis from the Los Angeles Lakers.

This was then followed up with four more screenshots at the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday the screenshots showcased two more high-profile players, both who switched teams in the offseason.

First was Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler and this was then followed up with Boston Celtics' Kemba Walker.

Then on Sunday we got a look at Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard and Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl Anthony-Towns.

All players look to have slightly improved looking graphics for all four players, but most of this is unlikely to keep fans at bay.

They want the ratings and more news about the potential game-changing features coming to NBA 2K20.

We'll just have to wait and see about the latter, but we're now only 13 hours away from the former.

Stay tuned, we'll be sure to keep you updated on all ratings as they're released.

In case anyone's been on holiday, it's been a busy couple of weeks for NBA 2K, although we can certainly see it getting more hectic in the weeks ahead.
