Ready your wallets and prepare yourself for some serious spending – Amazon Prime Day is here!

There are already a slew of amazing deals on offer over at the online retailer, but there's on particular offer that's caught our eye.

If you need to activate a membership to PlayStation Plus – or maybe you just want to renew for the coming year – then you should check out the great deal Amazon has on over the next 36 hours (at time of writing/publication).

You can nab a PS Plus subscription for £48.99 for 15 months – a phenomenal deal that will take you through until October next year, meaning the cost here will see you through the releases of Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Watch Dogs Legion, Death Stranding and many more besides.

Considering Sony will usually charge you just shy of £50 for a year's worth of PS+ subscription, this is a pretty good deal – basically, you can think of it as getting three months free!

If you need a catch up on what PS Plus is (or maybe you're just new to being a PlayStation owner), allow us to catch you up.

PlayStation Plus is Sonys PlayStation Network subscription service. Among numerous features, it also provides a selection of free games to download every month, including at least two PS4 titles.

In the month of July 2019, PS Plus users can download two decent games – you can read more about those in detail below.

Here's a closer look at both of them, which you can download on PlayStation 4 right now:
