The Spice Girls have been trending all over the internet ever since Victoria Beckham posted an image of all the girls back together – and Mel C has joked that she’s glad she got her hair done as she ‘thought she was just popping over to Geri Horner’s for a cuppa’.
We’ve all been there when an innocent get together with mates turns into a photo sesh.
Imagine not being at all too prepared and finding yourself crumbling as a photo of your bed hair is shared all over your mate’s Instagram.
Well not everyone is part of the Spice Girls or using a group pic to confirm rumours of a reunion.
That’s right, the Spice Girls are getting back together and all Mel C can celebrate is her strong selfie game.
Taking to Twitter last night after the announcement broke the internet Mel C jokes: ‘So glad I got my hair done. I thought I was just popping round my mate for a cuppa! #Spiceworld Love my ladies.’
Posh Spice, Scary Spice, Baby Spice, Sporty Spice and even Ginger Spice smiled for the cameras – well Victoria Beckham didn’t, as they got together this week.
We have long hoped for a Spice Girls reunion – we still haven’t thrown out our platforms and leopard print just in case our dreams come true.
So these latest pictures are so exciting that we may weep.
Taking to Instagram, Victoria captioned the picture: ‘Love my girls!!! So many kisses!!! X Exciting x.’
Considering the snaps follow previous reports the group have agreed to a £50 million reunion, it certainly seems like something special is on the cards.

Geri, Mel B and Mel C have been seen arriving at Geri’s mansion in Hertfordshire, sparking speculation that the reunion is in full flow.
Geri, 45, drove up to her gates, while Mel C, 44, was snapped walking up to the mansion.
Meanwhile, Scary Spice was pictured arriving at the house after flying out of Los Angeles on Friday night.
Victoria was seen leaving London’s Connaught Hotel after a date night with husband David.
And, as a final dropped hint, the band’s original manager Simon Fuller was seen rocking up to Geri’s house.
We’re officially pumped.
The group last reunited in 2012 for the London Olympic Games closing ceremony, with rumours circulating last year a reunion could occur to mark their 20th anniversary.
Rumours of a reunion have been swirling for years, with fashion designer Victoria believed to be the main block to a new tour.
However, it has been claimed that Posh has agreed to a reunion on the condition that she doesn’t have to sing – meaning the ladies aren’t likely to be embarking on a fully-fledged tour.
According to The Sun, the girls will pocket £10m for reuniting, which could see them releasing a greatest hits compilation or hosting a talent show.
This comes nearly two years after Emma, Geri and Mel B reunited as a three-piece called GEM – which soon fell to pieces.
While Geri recently released a solo single dedicated to George Michael and celebrated son Monty’s first birthday last month, Mel C has continued touring and recording music; Victoria owns a global fashion empire; Emma presents a show on Heart London and was a judge on the talent show Boy Band; and Mel B is a judge on America’s Got Talent.
