Another one bites the dust.

Married at First Sight starTracey Jewel has called it quits with Sean Thomsen just weeks after Nine's top-rating television show wrapped up.

The 35-year-old author and marketing consultant told New Idea magazine she broke up with her on-screen boyfriend last week because their relationship had become "quite strained".

"Because he's FIFO [fly-in, fly-out] he's not always here and with that lifestyle there's no stability," she said. "My core needs in a relationship are commitment, stability and security and Sean can't give that to me. That's why I can't move to Melbourne with him.

"I need my friends and my support [network] around me. I'm not ready to move. It's a miracle me and Sean have made it this far, to be honest."

The Perth mother made headlines earlier this year after she dumped on-screen "husband" Dean in order to pursue Sean. Dean had earlier copped flak for planning to ditch Tracey in favour of Instagram model Davina.

The ensuring drama was a ratings success for Nine, netting millions of viewers across the five major cities. And to keep tongues wagging, Tracey has revealed things have come full circle and she is now "ready" to rekindle what she had with Dean.

At least, that's what she told Seven West Media's gossip machine.

"I'm sure he'll be happy to hear about this break-up," she said. "Dean will always have a soft spot in my heart … I'm ready and I know what I want."

On Monday morning, Tracey made an appearance on the Nine Network to spruik a Perth cosmetic corrections clinic.

Past MAFS contestants have rubbished the program. Season two participant Clare Verrall has called the series a "shitshow" and said all the couples broke up within weeks of the show ending.

"There is no psychology behind these matches at all," she said. "I didn't even meet or speak to one of them [on-screen psychologists] at all."
