Lily Allen has revealed she hasnt spoken to her father in two mnths, after, in her memoir My Thoughts Exactly, she claimed he suffered a cocaine-induced heart attack one year at Glastonbury when she was 13.

The 33-year-olds book was filled with many a recount and tale from her life, some of which she admitted she may have got wrong in hindsight.

However the singer later revealed her father, comedian Keith Allen, read that particular excerpt and he denied it was so, claiming he instead suffered acute food poisoning.

While Lily appeared to laugh off her dads angry text message sent in response, she has said now that they havent been in contact since.

While the singer and mother-of-two recounted her family life growing up, as well as her rise to fame in the 00s and continued success thereafter, mixed with revelations of debauchery, drug use and celebrity hook ups, she made it clear she never wrote any of the chapters with the intent to hurt anyone.

I didnt put anything in there to embarrass or humiliate or to shame anybody, she said. I only put something in there if I felt it was significant in that it makes me make a bit more sense to people.

During an appearance on Jonathan Ross to promote the book, Lily revealed the book had stirred up issues with her dad, as she confessed he got in touch after reading the Glasto chapter.

I got quite a cross text from him [my dad] this weekend, she said. There was a big piece [in the press] and he texted me.
