Nick Jonas got cold feet on his first date with Priyanka Chopra and admits he was too scared to kiss her – because of her mother.
Priyanka, 36, graces the cover of Vogue for the fashion bibles 2019 edition and details her first date with the popstar.
The couple have arrived in Jodhpur, India for their lavish wedding which is set to take place this weekend.
Fortunately theyve made it this far because their first date was a little awkward by the sounds of it.
Nick, 26, wined and dined his wife-to-be at The Carlyle in New York City a week before they attended the 2017 Met Gala in May.
After getting to know each other over cocktails, the pair headed back to Priyankas apartment where they found her mother, Madhu Chopra, cosied up on the sofa watching Law & Order in her nightgown.

Well, that is quite a mood killer.
The Quantico actress admits she was quite disappointed when Nick didnt plant a kiss on her, telling the magazine: We hung out for a couple of hours. He patted my back before he left.
Nick chimed in: There was no kiss. There was nothing.
Unimpressed with her beaus tactics, Pri joked: There was a back pat, to which Nick admitted: Shes still upset about that.
Yeah, a pat on the back doesnt exactly scream passion.
Defending his decision to be gentlemanly, Nick revealed: Your mum was in the house. I thought it was a respectful first night.
However Pri stated: It was too respectful if you ask me.
The girl knows what she wants.
Nicks brother Joe Jonas also chimed in on the interview and spoke sweetly of his soon-to-be sister-in-law: I think she kind of knocked him off his feet. He was just this little puppy dog.

Opening up about her unique connection with Nick, Pri said: Never publicly acknowledge a relationship. Ever. What is happening? Ive not known myself like this. This guy turned me into such a girl! If I could blush, Id be tomato red right now.
