Kim Kardashian has tried to justify Kanye Wests slavery comments made in May but has made false claims about when and what he exactly said.
In the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim discusses the comments with pals Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck, and the three claim that TMZ edited the video of Kanye, and that the rapper made comments about slavery in the future.
The clip, published by E! on YouTube but now deleted reportedly has Kim telling them: Kanyes slavery comment? He never said that. That was just the headline.
If you listen to what he said, he said: ”Slavery was 400 years, if its gonna be another 400 years that sounds like a choice to me.” He didnt say slavery is a choice. He was saying if youre still going to be enslaved for another 400 years then thats some bullshit.

However, what Kanye said during a live chat with TMZ in May, was: You hear about slavery for 400 years. 400 years? That sounds like a choice. 400 years and its all of yall?
He went on, shocking fans: Its like were mentally in prison. I like the word prison because slavery goes too direct to the idea of blacks. Like holocaust – Jews. Slavery is blacks.
Prison is something that unites us as one race, blacks and whites.
TMZ reporter Van Lathan however had heard enough and interrupted Kanye to tell him that although he was entitled to his opinion there is fact and real word consequence behind everything you just said.
As Kanye looked dumbfounded that someone had disagreed, Van Lathan added: And while youre living the life you earned by being a genius, the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives.
We have to deal with the marginalisation thats come from the 400 years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice.
Frankly, Im disappointed, Im appalled, and brother. I am unbelievably hurt.
As the rapper went to apologise to Lathan, he added: Youve got to be responsible your voice is too big.
