Hailey Baldwin, 21, has firmly shut down reports she’s dating There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back singer Shawn Mendes.
Rumours of a romance began to circulate when the Ralph Lauren model was seen getting cosy with the 19-year-old hitmaker after the MTV European Music Awards, in November last year.
A source said at the time: ‘The place was packed with stars but Shawn only had eyes for Hailey.’
‘They looked like they were seriously into each other. It was a very exclusive bash and Shawn and Hailey were really enjoying themselves, and spending ages kissing.
‘They even posed for a photo with Rita Ora. It seemed like they wanted everyone to know they are an item.’
However, Hailey – who counts Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid as her besties – confirmed that at the moment, she is most definitely single… and ready to mingle!
Pressed on whether she was dating anyone, she told US Weekly, ‘Currently I’m not.’
Although, she did reveal: ‘I look for somebody who’s funny and can make me laugh. I’m very, very picky.
‘I am particularly very specific and I know like pretty much immediately if I’m gonna get along with somebody in the capacity of dating or not. It takes me a long time to feel like I can warm up to somebody before I ever even consider dating them.’
Guess it’s true what they say in Hailey’s case… all good things come to those who wait.
