Fortnite Creative Mode: Season 7 to add new Minecraft-inspired mode for Playground fans (Pic: EPIC)
Epic has formally revealed Creative Mode ahead of the launch of Season 7.
The new mode seems to be a spiritual successor to the game's previous Playground mode: it gives players massive amounts of creative freedom and lets players create and battle with as much time as they need and few restrictions.
Those who buy the Fortnite season 7 Battle Pass will get to play Fortnite Creative on Thursday, December 6 – a week ahead of those that don't purchase the Battle Pass.
That means those that don't buy Season 7's Battle Pass will get access to the mode on Thursday, December 13.

In a blog announcing Fortnite Creative, Epic Games said: "Theres something new coming in Season 7… Fortnite Creative!
"Its a brand new way to experience the world of Fortnite, available on December 6.
"Design games, race around the island, battle your friends in new ways and build your dream Fortnite.
"Its all happening on your own private island where everything you make is saved.
"Battle Pass owners will have access to a private island for the first week of Season 7.
"During this early access week Battle Pass owners can invite their friends to play on their island. Starting December 13, all players will have access to a private island for free."
Epic notes that the new mode won't be perfect at launch, and the developer will need to make changes to the mode as it grows and more players start discovering bugs.
"Fortnite Creative is new and exciting, but not final. Well be adding many new features and improvements over the next few updates. Like Battle Royale and Save the World, were committed to making this bigger and better over time."
We look forward to exploring this new mode when it launches.
