Fortnite Update 6.21 Patch Notes: New Update Time, Next Item Shop Skins Gift Update News (Pic: EPIC GAMES)
PSA – Fortnite will go offline this morning at 8am GMT as the game starts rolling out it's new update and patch notes
Fortnite Update 6.21: Epic has told players that they've decided to keep glider re-deploy feature recently introduced into the game.
There are a few amendments though, and these will form part of the upcoming 6.21 update. Full patch notes will follow tomorrow morning, but here's the gist of what Epic Games are planning:
"Weve finished our first week of Glider Re-deploy being available in all modes. During this time weve been collecting internal data and monitoring constructive feedback from all of you.
"We understand that not all players agree with this change, but we would like to continue with this functionality in the game based on the positive results weve been seeing.
"As this feature remains available, well begin making quality of life changes to its functionality. First of which will be prioritizing Glider audio over weapon audio within certain ranges, this will begin in v6.21. We also plan on adding additional changes in future updates.
"Thanks for the discussion and feedback youve provided. Please continue letting us know how we can improve this feature, your thoughts on its effect in matches, and any other feedback you may have as we continue to work on Glider Re-deploy."

Fortnite Battle Royale and Save the World players should be all set to receive a brand new update tomorrow morning as Epic Games looks set to roll out a new v6.21 Update.
Due to a delay to the original download times, fans will have to wait slightly longer to get their hands on the games new features. Writing on Twitter Epic Games told fans:
"Due to a last minute issue discovered within the v6.21 build, weve delayed its release until Thursday, November 1."
There are no official times, but we can probably assume that the times intended for the update originally will be used.
In which case we can probably expect the update to arrive, along with scheduled downtime, at 4 AM ET, which is 8 AM UTC for anyone in the UK.
Although we can't say for certain, we already have a pretty solid idea as to what some of the new content will look like for the games next big update.
For now, keep reading for a rundown for some of the main features expected to drop with the next big Fortnite update.

Balloons
This new in-game Battle Royale item was revealed earlier this week via an in-game notification.
"Inflate balloons to defy gravity!" reads an Epic post. "Add balloons to increase your altitude!"
It seems as though the Balloons might allow players to float above the Battlefield.
Which when combined with the new glider features that allow you to deploy your glider pretty much anywhere on the map, it's possible this could render the jump pads pretty much useless (which they already are currently to an extent).
We wouldn't be surprised to see the Jump Pad vaulted in response.

Gifting System
A new video released this week showed that the games long awaited gifting feature had undergone further tweaks.
The video released by YouTuber, Alpha, shows that the in-game gifting system now allows you to select a colour for your gift-wrapped present to your friends.
It seems as though the feature is still undergoing some changes by the devs and it's not clear, for the time being anyway, exactly when the feature could be released.
After all, files relating to the new gifting feature have been present since the 4.5 update released some months back on 27th June 2018.
Although, you'd have to say that an increase in changes an overall visibility of the feature would suggest that the Gifting feature is surely nearing completion and an official release from the game.
Fingers crossed it's part of the upcoming 6.21 update arriving Thursday.
AWOL Features
The below-mentioned features have been banded about and rumoured for some weeks. Could they arrive with the new update? Anything is possible. But in the event you missed the news before, here's a quick recap
A new Ghoul Skin and Cosmetics?
You've probably seen some of the images teasing the return of Fortnitemares. Well, it's possible that the images might also be teasing some new cosmetic items too.
The always helpful Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account has suggested that some of the images might be clues to some upcoming cosmetics available as part of Fortnitemares.
For example, a new skin (Ghoul Zombie), new backbling (the mini cube) and a new version of the Revolver weapon, which was recently vaulted.

New Vehicle?
We realise the game only just added the Quadcrasher Vehicle, but it looks like the game already has another vehicle lined up.
In fact, this one seems to be animal themed. It's called the 'Antelope.
Files relating to this new vehicle was discovered in the last update, but as Fortnite Intel reports, the assets are incomplete. So whether this is for something far off, or something they plan to release shortly, isn't clear.
Still, a rideable creature for a silly Halloween event would be kinda cool!
Seems the recent introduction of the Quadcrasher Vehicle to Fortnites Battle Royale mode just wasnt enough, it appears that drivable animals may be coming to the game in the future.
Fortnite 6.21 Update – Anything Else?
On top of everything mentioned previously, we should see the usual array of bug fixes for both Fortnite Battle Royale, Fortnite Save the World and mobile.
Below you can take a look at some of the main bugs which the Trello board has marked as 'fixed in the next release'.
This isn't to say they'll definitely be included in the next patch. But there's a pretty decent chance.

- Alpha Tournament Issues
Save the World 'fixed' Issues:
- Reloading cannot be interrupted with weapon types that have "per bullet reload" (shotguns, etc)
- Unable to use certain energy abilities after reviving.
- Riot Husky does not trigger traps
Mobile 'fixed' Issues:
- Jerky Camera turning on Mobile
- Samsung S9+ Performance issues
- Reloading cannot be interrupted with weapon types that have "per bullet reload" (shotguns, etc)
