Joseph Gordon-Levitt is attempting to see the funny side of his recent bike accident by sharing footage of it on social media.

The 37-year-old actor was hospitalised on Tuesday after sustaining an injury during a bike scene for upcoming Netflix movie Power with Jamie Foxx.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Joseph shared a slow-motion clip of the crash with his followers, in which the actor can be seen being catapulted over the handlebars of the bike he was riding.

I have bad luck shooting on bikes, Joseph quipped in the caption, referencing that time he needed 31 stitches after injuring himself in a bike accident while filming 2012s Premium Rush.

The extent of Josephs injuries are not yet know, although the actor appeared to have injured his arm by the looks of his Instagram Story.

Joseph uploaded a video of himself being wheeled through a medical centre with the caption: urgent care, before sharing an X-Ray of his arm.

However, the 500 Days of Summer star doesnt appear to have been too affected by the accident as he still managed to find time to celebrate Halloween in an adorable chef outfit – albeit with an arm sling in tow.

Last night I was the baker who bakes til dawn (so we can have cake in the morn) he tweeted alongside an image of himself donning his best chef whites.

Sci-fi thriller Power is set to be released next year.
