Drake – rap star, label boss and, now, video game overlord.

The Gods Plan hitmaker widened his business portfolio this week by investing some of his hard-earned cash in 100 Thieves, a Los Angeles-based lifestyle, apparel, and eSports brand.

Drake and Justin Biebers manager Scooter Braun both came in as the company – founded by former Call Of Duty world champion and YouTube sensation Matthew Nadeshot Haag – completed its Series A funding round and will act as strategic advisors.

The pair now join Haag and Cleveland Cavaliers chairman Dan Gilbert as co-owners of 100 Thieves, which is one of the fastest-rising brands in the industry.

With Matts experience, talent, and vision as a professional gamer he and his team have built one of the most authentic brands in the ever-evolving gaming space, Braun said in a press release posted on the official website.
