We're definitely going to hear more about Diablo 4 in the coming weeks.
At BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard will be hosting a panel dedicated to the future of Diablo – and it'll be taking place immediately after the opening showcase for the big event.
The panel – called Diablo: What's Next – will take place on November 2, and promises to tell players about where the Diablo universe is going next.
The day after, there will be a panel examining more of the overall Diablo world, and Blizzard's history with the series.
If none of these events reveal or dive into what Diablo 4 could be… we'll eat our collective hat.

“Wed also like to let you know, that the forges here at Blizzard are burning hot, and we have multiple Diablo projects in the works.
“Some of them are going to take longer than others, but we may have some things to show you later this year.
“We hope you stay tuned while we work to bring these new Diablo experiences to life.”
Despite it being a vague update, it is encouraging to know things are in the works.
So we know there's something in the work – it's just a matter of when we're going to hear about it.
