Fortnite Search 10 Chests in a single match: EASY Skull Trooper Challenge guide (Pic: EPIC GAMES)

The latest Fortnite update added the Skull Trooper this morning along with plenty more including numerous leaked skins and the Skull Squad Gear.

This means players can now obtain a new Crypt Cruiser Glider (Epic) worth 1,200 V-Bucks and a Skull Sickle Pickaxe (Epic) also worth 1,200 V-Bucks.

If you really fancy mixing things up, you could even abandon the Skull Trooper in favour of the new Skull Ranger outfit.

But as we've alluded to before, this wasn't the only new features added to the game.

There's also a series of Skull Trooper challenges geared towards players eventually collecting the Ghost Portal Back Bling.

Only, as some are discovering it's not exactly easy by any stretch.

The challenges to acquire the Ghost Portal Back Bling are as follows:

– Complete 7 Daily Challenges
– Deal damage to opponents in a single event (Not sure how many)
– Search 10 Chests in a single match
– Play matches with at least one elimination (not sure how many)
– Play matches (not sure how many)

Obviously one of the more challenging challenges is "Search 10 Chests in a single match"

Not only because you need to survive long enough to find the chests, but you have to factor in whether they will move location, how many are already opened when you drop.

There's a whole heap of reasons to complicate matters. Thankfully, there is one sneaky way of, not cheating, but at the very least getting around the difficulty.

Effectively you don't want to remotely try and attempt this challenge in the standard modes, or even squad mode. It's a waste of time because one sneaky shotgun from behind and you're toast.

Instead, follow some of the advice of the YouTuber in the video further up.

You want to instead attempt this challenge by playing the new Dance Off LTM mode. Why? Because you can't die, you just respawn, so that's one less thing to worry about.

Also, it's 50 v 50 so there are fewer distractions and you can happily mosey around half the map mopping up the chests without a care in the world.

Obviously, it also helps if you drop into an area that has a higher volume of chests to begin with, such as Paradise Palms, Retail Row, Greasy Grove, Titled Towers etc.
