Former Big Brother contestant Rebekah Shelton has claimed she was targeted by a hacker after a post on her Twitter account claimed she had died.
Shelton was said to have "died unexpectedly on Wednesday night" in a message which added: "We ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time."
Hours after the tweet was published on Friday morning it was deleted and Rebekah posted: "I'm not dead!!!!!!

In a video, she added: "I've been to hell today. Someone used my Twitter account to write that stupid status about me.
"This person can't accept the fact that I'm happy, that I overcame all my problems and I'm finally living my life happily.
"I'm on holiday, I'm in Arabia, and I'm not dead."

The 32-year-old appeared on Big Brother in 2009, and was then known as Rodrigo Lopes.
She finished fifth in the 10th series of the reality show.
