Ariana Grande is said to have pulled out of a cancer charity gig in wake of her split from Pete Davidson.
The singer and her fiance have allegedly called time on their romance after a whirlwind romance saw them get engaged after a month in June.
Ariana was due to appear on stage at the F**k Cancer Gala at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, but citing personal reasons, the singer allegedly chose not to perform.
Her manager Scooter Braun, whose wife Yael Cohen Braun was being honoured on the evening, was left scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute, and was left frustrated, according to E! News.
He called on comedian Trevor Noah to perform stand-up last minute instead.
According to the publication, Scooter announced on stage: Someone Im very close to was supposed to come sing for you today, and because of things that shes going through, she couldnt be here today.
And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, ”She needs this time.”
Another source added to Us Weekly that hed appeared annoyed. He definitely seemed pissed/disappointed, they said.
TMZ claims they have decided to split because it was not the right time for their relationship.
A source told the publication that they are: acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off, adding that they have love for each other.
The insider added that: the two arent ruling out the possibility of anything in the future.
The pop star has battled through a tough 15 months that saw her Manchester Arena show hit by a terror attack which claimed 22 lives, and the heartbreaking death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in September this year.
Ariana met Pete when she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live, and the pair grew close after she ended her relationship with rapper Mac.
The pair were reported to have been casually dating by late May but after just three weeks together, the new couple had become so loved-up Pete popped the question.
