Epic Games has announced a delay to this weeks update which was originally set to take place today.
The Halloween patch has now been pushed back after the development team spotted a problem just hours after announcing the new update.
This means that any extra spooky-themed changes will now take place after Halloween itself has come to an end.
Patch notes for the new update havent been released yet but there are a few changes and additions that players are expecting to see.
Why is there no Fortnite update today?
Epic Games has said that a last minute issue has caused the delay for the v6.21 patch.
This means that the update will instead take place on Thursday 1 November.
The update is expected to include more Fortnitemares tweaks and updates since it was originally going to be released on Halloween.
A new balloon item was also teased on the in-game news page and it seems like it will be a new mobility option that will let players go into the air.
The item description said inflate balloons to defy gravity! Add balloons to increase your altitude
Due to a last minute issue discovered within the v6.21 build, weve delayed its release until Thursday, November 1.
