Fortnite season 6 is now here and that means a brand new 100 tier Battle Pass to complete.
Game review: Life Is Strange 2 – Episode 1 is strangely compelling
It gives players the chance to unlock cosmetic items including outfits, glider, sprays and back bling as well as the new pet items.
Players can progress through the tiers by completing daily tasks and earning XP while playing the game, but they can also gain bonus XP by completing weekly challenges.
Seven new challenges are added each week and you need to complete at least four of them to get the XP reward.
The first tasks of season 6 includes applying shields, picking up legendary items and dancing under different streetlight spotlights.

What is new in Fortnite season 6?
The cube has been around the map for several weeks and it has had a big influence over the season 6 changes.
One addition to the game is a new consumable item called Shadow Stones which can be found near the many runes that were left behind by the cube.
When a player consumes one they will receive the Shadow Form ability that makes them invisible to enemies.
During this time you wont be able to use weapons and leave a shadow trail when moving, but you can move slightly faster and get fall immunity while it is in effect.
Another new addition is the introduction of pets as a new cosmetic item.
In the description Epic Games says Always have a friend watching your back when you drop in. Pets are now available in-game!
There havent been too many details revealed about the new items but it looks like players will be able to carry them around on their back.
Epic Games has added various new locations to the map, although all of the named areas are still there but with some slight changes in some of them.
Loot Lake now has a floating island at the centre of it that has been caused by the cube.
There is also a haunted castle near Haunted Hills as well as corn fields and the new corrupted areas where players can find shadow stones.

Other announced locations have also been added for players to find when exploring the game.
Several items have also been vaulted in the game – Impulse Grenade, Suppressed Submachine Gun, Light Machine Gun, Bouncer and Remote Explosives.
