Following Thursdays Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, Vice President Mike Pence used Twitter to state his support for Judge Kavanaugh, calling him a “person of integrity & impeccable credentials.” Pence also drew a sharp contrast between the behavior of Republicans and Democrats on the committee.
Today, Senate Republicans conducted a hearing that was fair & respectful to Judge Kavanaugh & Dr. Ford. The same cannot be said of the Democrats. Based on today & his decades of service, I stand with Judge Kavanaugh – a person of integrity & impeccable credentials. Take the vote.

President Trump also tweeted his support for Kavanaugh after the hearings while blasting Democrats for their “search and destroy strategy. The president called the SCOTUS nominees testimony “powerful, honest, and riveting.”
