Trisha Paytas has apologised for the language she used in her controversial transgender announcement video while re-iterating that she identifies as male.
The YouTube star faced a huge amount of backlash when she announced shes a transgender man, with viewers being overwhelmingly confused by the language used in the video.
In a recent vlog titled apology, she said: I am overwhelmed by the amount of backlash. I put out that video and in no way did I think I would get so much backlash and hate – and a ton of hate from the LGBTQ+ community.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star added: That alone breaks my heart so much because I would never want to offend that community.
I havent told anyone in my life these feelings…because of the judgement, because of the backlash, she continued.
This is something that I have felt since I was five, six, seven.

Recalling that she has been seeing a gender identity therapist for the past few months, Trisha explained: I would never have said I was transgender before. I said I dont think Im non-binary, I really in my heart feel male.
Sobbing, Trisha went on to say: I feel like I should just apologise so people stop being nasty to me because this is something Ive really struggled with.
She added: As a child I hated my breasts, I hated my vagina, I hated going into the female bathroom, I hated being classified as female.
Directly addressing the backlash, she went on to say: I just dont get how people think I can choose this, that Im just deciding to do this, before concluding: I feel part of the [LGBT] community without being part of the community because no one wants me in it.
In her original video, Trisha said she intends to continue using female pronouns and her birth name.
She said: I identify with men better. People always think theres something wrong with me because I dont have that many girlfriends but I do love girls — I love their sensitivity and all the stuff like that.
Thats why I identify more as a gay man because I like guys but I also identify as a guy.
However, viewers were confused when Trisha later said that while she one thousand percent thinks she is transgender, she also a thousand percent identifies with her natural born gender.

The YouTuber has faced a huge amount of backlash, with one viewer saying: Trisha its not about how you dress its literally that youre 100% okay with your birth gender and you only feel like a guy bc you have guy friends and wanna date gay guys and have short hair you cannot just choose to be trans like that.
