The cast of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” recently all scored pay raises, and they’re rolling in the money.
The Hollywood Reporter reported the following on their pay raises:
According to sources, the main actors are divided into different pay tiers. Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) make up the “A tier” and are making up to $350,000 an episode. The “B tier” consists of the young stars — Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will) — who are each collecting $250,000 per episode. Meanwhile, the actors in the “C tier” — onscreen teenagers Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve) — are each pocketing roughly $150,000 an episode.
THR also reported that it’s unclear how much money Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, is making for the show. It’s believed that it could be as high as $350,000.
Good for these kids. They’re just some young bucks in Hollywood, and they’re rolling in the cash. They’ve got enough money to head over to the Body Shop, the only place Billy Walsh has ever felt loved, and make it rain on some strippers. Matarazzo is 15, Wolfhard is 15, McLaughlin is 16, Schnapp is 13 and they’re all about to be millionaires. I don’t want to be too bold here, but those four might be the most popular kids in their schools.
I can’t even imagine being 13 years old and making a quarter of a million dollars per episode of a hit television show. Hopefully, these young kids have somebody who is fiscally responsible overseeing their money. We’ve all heard way too many stories about Hollywood stars going broke. Luckily, these kids all appear to be headed for very lucrative and long careers.
