Tekashi69 has been arrested on racketeering charges.

The rapper, his manager – who he fired last week – and two former associates are in federal custody after being arrested on Sunday night.

According to TMZ, Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, was arrested in New York City alongside his ex-manager Shottie, and Faheem Walter. It is unknown who the other suspect is.

The four men are facing racketeering and firearms charges in what is reported to be a joint investigation by ATF (the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the New York Police Department and Homeland Security.

According to The Daily Beast, more details on the cast involving the 22-year-old will be announced today at his arraignment in Manhattan federal court.

This comes after Hernandez was put on probation for use of a 13-year-old child in a sexual performance in 2015, when the hip-hop star created three sexually explicit videos involving the girl.

In his plea deal, Tekashi had to prove that the crime he committed was the result of a serious mistake he made in his youth, one that was not indicative of the law abiding life he intended to lead as an adult.

He was sentenced to four years of probation, and also complete 1000 hours of community service as well as avoid any involvement with gangs or any further arrests – which doesnt bode well for his current situation.

Last week, Tekashi fired his entire team and cancelled his US tour, telling fans: I am letting everybody know I cancelled my whole tour, the American dates is not happening, its not going down… I fired everybody in my team, I fired my manager, booking agent, PR, publicist…

Whoever is booking shows for Tekashi69 is stealing your fucking money… if you are not on the phone with me do not book that show, its not me.

The hip-hop star also claimed he would be dropping his new album on 23 November.

Just a week before this incident, shots were fired at a house where Tekashi was set to film a music video with Nicki Minaj and Kanye West.

A bullet pierced the window of the Beverly Hills home, entering the room Nicki was supposed to be using as a dressing room – thankfully, the rapper had not yet arrived.
