Beat ’em ups are pretty fast-paced even at the slowest of times, requiring combination perfection and lightning fast reactions.

As we all know they can get pretty hard pretty quickly, especially when you make the move to a competitive tier.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is one of the biggest titles around in the genre at the moment, and as you can expect people are working on their own techniques and playing styles constantly.

One gamer has taken that to whole new and very unexpected level by re-programming a Rockband keyboard controller for the game.

Something that you have to see to believe.

Captured in action at the Revenge of the 6ix: DBFZ Edition tournament, Greg and his set up are something to behold.

There’s also some interesting footage of him dominating one of the games at the tournament, though sadly there’s limited views of him using the keyboard.

Released last month on Playstation Four, Xbox One and PC, Bandai Namco’s moist recent tie-in with the much-beloved anime franchise has proved hugely popular.

Thanks to a 2D setting with lush cell-shaded 3D figures, and a capture system that has mimicked the characters and animation from the TV series, it’s become something of a hit – and not just with fans of the anime.

In Dragon Ball FighterZ players select three characters who will form their team in each fight, and all three characters have to be defeated to win the clash. You are able to change between the characters and you can also do special attacks by performing combo moves.
