Actress Allison Mack, best known for her role in Smallville, has plead guilty in court over charges related to NXIVM and its sex cult subsect DOS– including having her own sex slave.
The 36-year-old has been charged with a series of racketeering charges, extortion and false labour, sex trafficking conspiracy, sex trafficking and attempted sex trafficking.
Her confession comes after she was previously alleged to have recruited sex slaves for NXIVM leader, Keith Raniere.
Appearing in Brooklyn Federal court just a few hours before jury selection was due to begin on the case, Mack came clean and started crying as she confessed to all charges.
Weeping in court, she told Judge Nicholas Garaufis: Im here to plead guilty before your honour. I must take full responsibility for my conduct. I am very sorry for my role in this case.

They would blackmail those within the group to their will after building collateral against them, including collection of nude photos and financial details, making them fear for their safety should they leave.
The sub-sect of the cult, named DOS, was run by Raniere, and in her confessions Mack acknowledged she had hidden this previously.
There is speculation that the actress copped to confessing for a lesser sentence for co-operating with authorities, however this has not been substantiated.
The conviction carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Macks representatives for further comment.
Macks confession comes after NXIVM co-founder Nancy Salzman and her daughter Lauren Salzman also pleaded guilty racketeering conspiracy charges last month.
It is alleged that Allison became involved in the cult during a low point in her career, and after becoming unhappy befriended Raniere.
By the time she was arrested, she was reportedly one of the leading members of the group, branding newcomers with her initials and
