Simon Cowell has admitted he hasnt ruled out the idea of having another to child to join four-year-old son Eric.
The 59-year-old media mogul welcomed his first son with longterm partner Lauren Silverman in 2014, with his leap into fatherhood showing fans a much softer side to his personality.
Though the X Factor judge admits he had previous concerns about having kids too late, he has revealed hes open to the idea of having a second.
If youd have asked me six years ago I would have probably gone, “I might have left this a bit too late,” but then you go, “Oh how you could imagine him not being here.” So whatever happens, happens, the dad-of-one told Lizzie Cundy on This Morning.
Simon also confessed hes already got Eric in training to one day fill his shoes as head judge on the X Factor panel and CEO of music label Syco.

He said: Hes in training as you will see over the weekend, Im getting him ready to do my job.

And he wasnt lying; the music producer let Eric take control of entertainment empire Syco – which recently sensationally dropped X Factor proteges Little Mix and Rak-Su – earlier this month.
Eric even dressed as his famous father for a day at the office, complete with white shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, sharp shades, some grey hairs and a bit of makeup stubble.
Unicefs World Childrens Day is an inspired idea. I can now talk as a very proud Dad about the joy Eric has brought to my life, Simon gushed.
My dream would be to see him one day running the company I have built. And the most important lesson I have learned is what children teach you. They all have a voice.

It turned out to be quite the This Morning appearance for Simon, who aside from gushing about his son, also manged to put his foot in it as he discussed potential X Factor winners.
When pressed on who he thinks might take this years crown, the head judge tipped Louis Tomlinsons Dalton Harris over his own act Scarlett Lee.
Awkward…
Simon also turned heads during the interview by claiming he thought Cheryl had died following *that* controversial performance of Love Made Me Do It on the show earlier this month.

I thought she was dead at the end of it actually! he declared.
I remember her lying there, and I said to Louis: “I think shes dead!” and then she stood up. So I was laughing afterwards.
