Dont panic, Jay Z might not have been dissing Kanye West after all.
The Big Pimpin rapper was rumoured to have thrown shade at his former Watch The Throne partner on Meek Mills new album Championship but it turns out, we might have gotten the wrong end of the stick.
In an incredibly rare tweet, Jay Z, 48, clarified his supposed diss lyric on Friday, stating: The line clearly meant dont pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album.

Jay Zs clarification doesnt exactly clear up his lyric considering he does appear to be heavily dissing Kanye on Whats Free.

Jay Zs purported diss is just the latest in his long-running feud with Kanye, who he was once besties with.
The longer the beef drags out, fans become increasingly disappointed that Watch The Throne 2 becomes even less of a possibility.
