Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch has revealed that swinging with his wife saved their marriage.
The 37-year-old has been married to Mollie Gates since August 2015, but says that after they tied the knot, he told her they had to get nontraditional.
In a candid interview with Playboy, the actor said: To her credit, instead of saying “F*** you, Im out,” she was like, “Lets figure this out.” To be honest, swinging has saved our marriage.
We have different speeds, and we argue over it constantly, but its better than feeling unheard and alone and that you have to scurry in the shadows.
Thomas, best known for playing Richard Hendricks on Silicon Valley, continued: Im sexual. Id always thought I was a romantic and that when I fall in love, that stuff fades away. It does for some years—enough to be like, “I should get married, and Ill be different.”
But its part of me. If thats part of your being and it feels important to you, find a way to explore it, because repression sucks.

However, he added that he and Mollie have strict rules when it comes to their sex lives.
Thomas said: Mollie and I have created our own rules, and compared to most of the people weve met who do this kind of s***, our rules are strict.
Were not off on our own; were together, a unit.
Thomas added that while some of the more Fifty Shades-ish parties do exist – some of which he has attended – hes more about the 1960s, peace-and-love, full-understanding, everyones-connected-and-feels-good kind of way approach.
And while hes happy to be the face of the lifestyle, he concedes that his wife of four years is more private about their intimate life.

Thomass honest interview comes in the same Playboy issue covered by Kylie Jenner, with the 21-year-old also giving an interview to boyfriend Travis Scott for the magazine.
The Canadian stars sexual confessions come as he prepares to return to the big screen in the eagerly anticipated Zombieland sequel Double Tap, in which he stars alongside Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Bill Murray.
Thomas most recently starred in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.
