Anyone looking forward to playing Shenmue III this summer will have to wait until the late autumn, as Shenmue III suffers its latest delay.

We doubt anyones going to be very surprised by this, but Shenmue III is going to miss its August release date and wont now be out until 19 November on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Thats at least the third major delay the game has suffered so far, after originally having been scheduled for late 2017.

The new delay became the 100th update on Shenmue IIIs Kickstarter page, where series creator Yu Suzuki insisted that the game was almost ready.

The only silver lining, other than the delay standing as further proof that things are not being rushed, is that it will now come out almost 20 years to the day from the first entry in the series.

The first game came out on 29 December, 1999 in Japan, although it wasnt released in the West until November 2000.
