Serena Williams recently got the job of planning Meghan Markles baby shower after being long time BFFs with the Duchess of Sussex.
However, after celebrating the unborn tot at The Mark Hotel, on the Upper East Side, in a reportedly $75,000 (£57,000)-a-night penthouse, the famous tennis player has since admitted that planning the do was a lot.

When chatting to Business of Fashion about the lavish party, the mother-of-one opened up about the undertaking, which saw Misha Nonoo, said to be behind Prince Harry and Meghans first date, stylist Jessica Mulroney, Soho House Consultant Markus Anderson and actress Abigail Spencer all in attendance.
The 37-year-old told the publication: Planning something like that takes a lot of effort.
She added: Im a perfectionist, so Im like, “Lets make it perfect.”

And it sure seemed pretty close to perfect, as prior to the event caterers, flowers, and even harpist Erin Hill, carrying her instrument, were seen arriving at the hotel.

Serena and Meghan have been close friends since they first met at the 2010 Super Bowl in Miami, Florida.
Talking on her lifestyle blog The Tig, Meghan opened up about her relationship with the tennis pro and revealed how they bonded over a game of flag football.
She wrote: We hit it off immediately.


Taking pictures, laughing through the flag football game we were both playing in, and chatting not about tennis or acting, but about all the good old fashioned girly stuff.
Serena has also boasted about their friendship and last year spoke to press at Wimbledon about how theyve always had each others back.
