Chris Brown has responded to Wendy Williams after she subtly shaded the singer for notoriously showing up late to concerts.

Last week, Chris, 29, confirmed that he and Nicki, 36, will be heading out on a joint tour this summer following the release of their new collaboration with G-Eazy, Wobble Up.

Surprisingly given their turbulent history, Wendy revealed her excitement for the upcoming jaunt this week but did throw in a little critique about Chris and Nickis timekeeping.

Discussing the tour on her Wendy Williams Show on Monday, the talk show host said: Personally speaking I think they shouldnt have an opener because I like both of them equally but what they should do is open up together with their new song Wobble Up.

They go out there together, they do Wobble Up and then maybe Chris disappears off the side of the stage during part of the Wobble Up song and then Nicki takes over and they break right into a Nicki song.

However, after dishing out the compliments, Wendy added: Or, they can do it this way because theyre both notorious for showing up late so whoever shows up first opens.

While Chris did appreciate Wendys support, he wasnt here for the shade and responded in an Instagram post: OK WENDY I DONT SHOW UP LATE THOUGH!! I DO HOWEVER SHOW DA F**K OUT. APPRECIATE DA PUB.

He then alluded to Wendys recent personal troubles, which includes divorcing her husband Kevin Hunter and living in a sober house to battle her alcohol addiction.

Chris added: WHEN U BROKEN.. u live in da shade… JUST KNOW I SAW THE COMPLIMENT IN BETWEEN THE DEMONS. thanks boo.

Wendy and Chris have a rocky past and have traded some unsavoury words about each other on social media on a few occasions over the years.

After rumours began circulating, Chris confirmed his tour with Nicki and stated it would take place this summer, not the autumn as was previously reported.
