It seems congratulations are in order for Russell Tovey and rugby player Steve Brockman, who have announced their engagement!
The Being Human actor confirmed the happy news to Metro.co.uk, saying: ‘Completely unexpected but very very happy and looking forward to having a proper party to celebrate when back in London.’
Kings Cross Steelers player Steve moved to the US with Russell, 36, in 2017 while he took residency in New York’s National Theatre, starring in the show Angels In America alongside actor Andrew Garfield, 34.
A source previously revealed to The Sun in July 2017 that the pair were ‘getting serious.’
‘Russell has never flaunted his romances but behind closed doors he is infatuated,’ the source said.
The pair often post cute snaps together on Instagram – when they’re not posting pics of adorable dogs, that is.
The actor has previously revealed that he’s ‘totally’ up for marriage, telling the Evening Standard: ‘100 per cent I will do it, when the time is right.’
And kids? He’s up for all that too: ‘Yeah, all of it. But I’ve got my dog at the minute — he’s my everything, my sun and my moon and my mate.’
Well, pooch is gonna have to move aside now that Russell’s newly betrothed!
Congrats again to the happy couple!
