“The Batman” is filming again in the U.K. after the Matt Reeves-directed film was halted Sept. 3 following a positive test from one of the production members.
Filming has resumed following the hiatus called for in quarantine protocols, the Associated Press reported Thursday, citing a Warner Bros. studio spokesman. The studio has not identified the person who had the virus.
The positive test stopped the project starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader just three days after “The Batman” had resumed shooting in the wake of the original COVID-19 shutdown.
“The Batman” was supposed to hit theaters in June 2021 but was pushed back to October 2021 because of the original filming delays.
Pattinson made a surprise appearance before the release of the first teaser trailer during the virtual DC Fandome event Aug. 22.
“As many of you probably already know, we were in the beginning stages of production when COVID hit, so now I’m very anxious to get back to work and continue to form this beloved character. I’ve always been a massive fan,” Pattinson said.
